"The two things I want most for my children are that they would love the Bible and that they would love the Bible's author. Joanna Kimbrel's study is a valuable resource to help kids do both of those things. With age-appropriate Scripture paraphrases and accessible verse commentary, Jesus Is Better draws young readers into the treasure of the Book of Hebrews while always pointing them to its source and primary focus: Jesus. I'm eager to share this helpful book with the beginner Bible students in my life.”
-Megan Hill, managing editor, The Gospel Coalition; author, Fritz and the Midnight Meetup, pastor's wife, mother of four
“Jesus is Better is masterfully written to be comprehensive, captivating, compelling, and easily comprehended by elementary readers. I found myself subconsciously smiling as my own understanding of Hebrews was enriched by Joanna’s relatable examples and accessible commentary. What a gift to giggle with my kids as they learn not only about this book of the Bible, but key theological truths that have powerful implications for their daily lives.”
-Abbey Wedgeworth, author of the Training Young Hearts children’s book series
“Hebrews is one of the more confusing books of the New Testament, a beautifully complex letter that requires whole-Bible knowledge. I’m so glad Joanna has written Jesus Is Better, making Hebrews clear and relatable for kids. She will help them know and love their whole Bibles—and most importantly, she will point them to Jesus, our Great High Priest and Eternal King.”

We love all of these books and how they bring the bible to the hands, hearts, and minds of our children!
So grateful for accessible, biblical resources from Kaleidoscope. These make great Baptism gifts!
Super beautiful addition to our collection of Kaleidoscope books! My 9 year old loves them!
I ordered this book for my granddaughter for a gift. She was so excited to get it in the mail. Thank you.
Hebrews is such a theologically rich book. Frankly, it can be a lot for adults to understand, let alone kids. Kaleidoscope does a great job of teaching the meaning of the book at a level that my kids can understand. Definitely a keeper.
It's so great to have a bridge between board book and full Bible! Can't wait to start reading with my 6 year old!
Every single book we’ve gotten from Kaleidoscope has been an amazing resource for our family. We love reading them to our 5 and 8 year olds. It provides a great way to help them begin to understand each book of the Bible (in this case, Hebrews), while also keeping our focus on the overarching narrative of the whole Bible. It helps us start good conversations with our children and even as parents we learn and grow from each book too.
My son was so excited to get the book of Hebrews on his level
Highly recommend these books for reading aloud or for your independent reader. This are a perfect bridge between little children's Bible stories and the Bible to help kids understand the context more in a way that they can read and understand.
We love all Kaleidoscope bible books.
We’re so excited for this one. I’m saving it currently as we’re in the middle of 1&2 Samuel but we are loving these books and the conversations they spark.
My kids love kaleidoscope books, and I love how often I see them reading them. We've had great conversations about Hebrews from this book.
